In order to ensure compliance with ever changing industry standards and regulations, GitLab has updated its Terms of Use, Subscription Agreement, Privacy Policy and other general terms and policies (referred to as “Terms”).
To ensure easy navigation and understanding of the updates, we have provided a brief summary of some of these changes below, including where to view the updates and when they come into effect. Terms of Use
As of January 21st, we have updated the Terms of Use page to make it easier to understand the terms and policies applicable to you.
Subscription Agreement
The updated Subscription Agreement will be applicable for all purchases and renewals of GitLab Software made after February 1, 2021. Please note, these terms and conditions will not apply to any existing Customers (who purchased prior to February 1), and /or, those who have executed terms with GitLab.
Privacy Policy
Effective January 21st, we have updated the Privacy Policy to provide clearer and more detailed information about our privacy practices. In addition, we have added language to address the requirements of various privacy laws.
