1. If you were governor of your state . . .
A. What are two things you would do to protect wetlands? (2 points)
First I would try to stop pollution. Second, I would try to keep toxic waste as far away as possible from a body of water.
B. What are three important things wetlands can do that make them worth protecting? (3 points)
The help keep the water clean, they prevent floods and droughts, and they are home to many plants and animals.
2. Record your water usage for one day, using the chart below. (5 points)

Shower 25 x = 2 50

Washing hands or face 1/2 x 5 = 2.5
