The FrankFest is 9/29.....

This is the official announcement:
FrankFest is August 29, 2010 starting about 2:00pm and ending about
whenever.
It will take place at Dave's, call, write, or email for directions.
Food: Usual pot luck rules apply, a grill will be available.
Drink: We'll have a couple of cases of regular beer and soda,
otherwise you know what to do.
Music: No formal rehearsals planned. Let's do what we do*. Any old
charts could and should be attempted, no expectations.

Comment:
Well, we took a year off. Turns of fate, and other factors prevailed.
Of the 2008 Fest: It was terrible, it was wonderful. So much of the
music was wonderful: we had some new charts, some great players, and
despite a few oddities, some nice execution.
On the technical side, not so much: the 24 track recording failed to
playback – of course we didn't do a backup. The monitor mix ended up
being not worth the trouble.

*So this year I say back to the roots. One speaker on a pole with a
mic plugged into it.
