Network Meeting about the Sectoral Employment Order

It was agreed by the Board of Galway Childcare Committee to facilitate a Network Meeting on 19th February about a Sectoral Employment Order (SEO) for the childcare sector. An SEO is recommended by the Minister for Children & Youth Affairs, Katherine Zappone, to address issues of low pay and working conditions in the sector.
Galway Childcare Committee is pleased to host this meeting on the understanding that it reflects our role of supporting children and families to access quality childcare. This meeting will have a specific focus on sharing information about an SEO from a range of stakeholder perspectives, on the understanding that Galway Childcare Committee supports the sector as a whole.
