Hi, any chance that this application will be opensourced and, say, put
on GitHub?

How hard would it be to enable color support (e.g. changing color
schemes), and perhaps support for other TERM types?

That would be neat, and we are looking in this, but its not as easy as just opensourcing it.

currently we are trying to prepare a git repo, which will opensource parts of the player.
