Hello Dear Poi Spinners and Beautiful People-

I write with a heavy heart, bearing bad news... because we haven't had a great turn out as of late, Poi Spinning Class is under threat of cancellation. If you are still interested in the class, please try to come for the next couple of weeks. Tonight and next Monday might be our last two opportunities to spin in the beautiful studio!

 

Poi-Spinning is every Monday from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm at The Synergy Studio (at Pearl Brewery)! 

We bump the tunes, learn some moves, then jam out while trying not to hit ourselves with our Poi.

Speaking of the Brothers of the Flame, they are hosting a Poi Spinning meet up every Tuesday evening from about 7pm to 9pm in the Pearl Brewery Amphitheatre... all are welcome with fire or practice poi...

 

Poi is just like Fire-Spinning, but instead of fire, the spinner uses LED balls to dance and play with. We challenge our bodies and brains, and play with light like a whirling dervish dances with the tornado he creates. Amazing YouTube example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQJdmOhSsXU

Newbies, beginners, and drop-ins welcome! Members of Synergy, come give it a try! 
Remember that if you are new to the studio you get a free week to try any and every class you have time to try...

I have extra practice poi for you to play with at the studio. I also have sets of LED glow poi for sale for $25.00. Or, if you'd like to make your own, all you need is a pair of knee socks and two tennis balls or two pairs of ankle socks.

You are guaranteed to be able to do at lease 4 moves by the end of your first class!
