I am trying to install play framework in my windows 7 os.
When I am typing play help in cmd it appears ‘play’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. It only runs when I am in the path of play directory.
I added a system environment variable as following.

Should it work?
Do I have to do something more?
Sorry I am really new on this

You have to add "c:/where_you_installed_play/" to the system environment variable PATH - use ; to separate the different paths.

George, have you installed jdk and mentioned the path in environment variables?
Also, just append the path of play framwork to Path variable.. No need to create new variable.. Just append it..
