I apologize if this is not play related. When I type localhost:9000 in chrome, my Play project works completely fine. But when I use IE, nothing shows up (except for Bing trying to search for the keyword).  Is there a specific step I need to do in order to get Play running on IE?

Try http://localhost:9000 -- I think that IE assumes keyword over address, and doesn't look up an address unless it has the protocol explicitly.

Also, try 127.0.0.1:9000 instead. If that works, make sure you have a localhost entry in your host file

@Will: That works like wonder. Thanks!!!

@Joseph: I did have localhost in my host file. Thanks though! That can be one of the causes also.
