Hi

I'm new to the play-framework, only just came across it today. I've
created a new application by running 'play new blog'. This has
successfully created a blog directory containing the expected file
structure.

When I try to run 'play run' I get the following error:

Oops. /home/arthur/play-1.0.2 does not seem to host a valid
application

I have python 2.6.4 running on Linux Mint (a Ubuntu derivative). Does
anyone know why I might be seeing this?

Thanks,
Arthur

I've answered my own question. I just needed to add blog to the end
of play run. So, just run 'play run blog'.

Arthur,

It seems you try to run from the framework folder. You have to run "play run" from your application folder (../blog).

best,

Is /home/arthur/play-1.0.2 the path to the framework directory?
you need to specify the path to your project directory.
