eclipse keeps encoding my templates as cp1252 instead of utf8

I have several .html templates and tag files, and everytime I open my
project, all of them are encoded with cp1252.

Right-clicking on the file, and choosing properties, I see

Text file encoding
(selected) Default (determined from content: Cp1252)
Other: (combo)

If I select UTF8, everything works fine, but once again if I close and
open the project the file is cp1252 encoded again

In the project properties I've defined UTF8 as the default, but it
doesn't seem to work

Hi saludos,

Try to set the encoding for the workspace (Window/Preferences/General/
Workspace) and restart Eclipse. This fixed the issue for me.
