Where to start on adding support for other JVM-backed scripting languages?

Hello,

Just wanted to throw this question out there. Where would you start if you wanted to add support for other JVM-backed scripting languages like JavaScript, Ruby, or Python? Is it possible at this stage to add support for other languages in the same way that Scala is supported?

are you talking of play 1.x or play 2?
