Special guest James Turley, from the Communist Party of Great Britain, and who spoke at the 2013 Platypus International
Convention last weekend in Chicago, will be in New York this week!  Apologies for the last-minute announcement, but
we will be having a talk with him this Thursday at NYU, with possibly more guests to be announced.  Stay tuned for
details!

The talk will orient around the discussions and debates between the Platypus Affiliated Society, the Communist Party
of Great Britain, and the International Bolshevik Tendency, of which a dossier of useful documents can be found here.

weekly coffee breaks

Platypus Coffee Breaks are the informal conversations about
the meaning and future of the Left that Platypus hosts on a
weekly basis. They are a great time to meet with members of
Platypus, fellow travelers, and allies of the group. It’s an opportunity
to discuss issues raised in the latest issue of the Platypus Review,
consider the state of the Left, and just hang out with people who have
similar political interests. Please join us!
