So sorry guys- between family crises and my internet/phone lines going
up and down like yo yo's, I have been unforgivably scatty.
Please accept my apologies. Am not dead, and will be back as soon as I
have a web connection that works for 5 min flat. Will be catching up
where I can in meantime.

And,... I am back.
The lightning melted modem is replaced. Telkom have got my line
limping on after a mere 5 weeks [!!] with a promise of a full
replacement next week, and nothing else has gone wrong so far
today!!!!
So very sorry folks. Am hopefully back to normal from now on. Will get
caught up asap.
