I am doing a measurement simulation with powerinspect connected to a Virtual CMM.
After connecting the machine and calibrating the probe. I measured 3 planes to do the alignment. Until now, everything is fine.

I did exactly what was shown in the video, but it doesn't work. When we apply a translation, it cannot move the part to the same zero point in both systems (machine model and virtual CMM). Because the virtual CMM applies this translation to the previous position we used before.
Maybe we should fix the position of the part by giving the coordinate of the zero point instead of applying the translation.
If you want use the MachineModel in the VirtualCmm, then you could move the Part anywhere on the machine table about CAD Translation. That`s like on a real machine, if you put the part anywhere on the table. About the startegy "Teach&Learn" knows PowerInspect where the part is located on the machine table.
