GPUID selection

Hi!

I've been trying to select the GPU using gpuid in bspline params, but it always defaults to the same. The problem is that that GPU is currently busy with other tasks and I'd like to split the work load. From what I've seen in my (very fast) look at the code, it seems like gpuid selection is only available when using the stand alone version of the bspline method. Am I right with that intuition? How could I signal Plastimatch to use a given GPU (better not recompiling)?

Thanks a lot in advanced,
Pablo Botas

Hi Pablo,

That is a good point.  I may have fixed this.  Could you please (1) svn update

(2) recompile, and then (3) try something like the following:

[STAGE]

gpuid=2

Unfortunately I couldn’t test it.  Please let me know if it works.

Greg

Hi Greg!

It works great. If the GPU ID is not valid it outputs the necessary information to correct it too, which is great. The ordering of the GPUs is not consistent between softwares.

Thanks for the quick fix/add on!!
