Hello,

Any chance the plastimatch container available at biocontainers will be updated in the future? It is currently at 1.7.4:

Thanks!

Hi Antonio,

I suppose this would be a question for the docker biocontainers team.

I’m willing to help, but I don’t know very much about docker.

Greg

Apparently one is supposed to make a pull request.  The previous Dockerfile looks like this.

https://github.com/BioContainers/containers/blob/master/plastimatch/1.7.4dfsg.1-2-deb/Dockerfile

Plastimatch version in Debian 12 (bookworm) is 1.9.3, should be simple enough to create a new Dockerfile to use that version.

Thanks for the quick response; I managed to build a container using a recent version of Debian and installed plastimach 1.9.3 in there. Works well so far!
