Hi,

I'm trying to update my plastimatch version to 1.9.x on linux system.

With default "sudo apt-get install plastimatch", I can only install with version 1.8.x.

Then I went to build from source page https://plastimatch.org/building_plastimatch.html#building-plastimatch, I did "git pull", but it said I had already installed latest version.

Anyone know how to deal with it?

Thank!!!

While building from source, try to use command "git tag", it will show you available tags. For me the latest tag is 1.9.4.
You can use command "git checkout 1.9.4" to switch to selected branch or tag (1.9.4 in my case).

Hi,
if you install plastimatch from distro repository, you are forced to use the binary version available in that repo.

If you compile plastimatch from source, then you can use git to update the code.

I didn't understand if you are mixing the two scenarios.

Best,
Paolo
