EPOXIDIZED SOYBEAN OIL ZIRFLEX ESBO / ESO Aplications; ZIRFLEX ESBO (EPOXIDIZED SOYBEAN OIL) is a non toxic co stabilizer mainly used for rigid and plasticised PVC applications. As a co stabilizer it has a positive effect on long term heat stability when used in conjunction with organo tins or metal soap stabilizers. ZIRFLEX ESBO significantly improves the weather ability of PVC articles. ESBO also has ability to act as an internal lubricant and a secondary plasticiser, based on the concentration used in the formulation. In rigid PVC processing ZIRFLEX ESBO is used as a co stabilizing internal lubricant. ZIRFLEX ESBO markedly improves the stability and performance of Zn containing stabilizers such as Ca/Zn.
