to Plastic Soup Clean Up
It has come to my attention that the particulates in the soup are on
average much smaller then I had first thought. the new design would
break the job into two stages. the larger pieces would still be raked
in from a surface platform. the smaller pieces would be pumped in to
a filers system. it will be imposable to filter out 100% of sea life
from the pumped water to improve the health of the sea life a research
ship will be checking out the harvest area before the ship arrives
they will study the density and types of life that is in the area. if
the life found in the area is large enough to make it safely though
the screening process or can be farm raised and replaced. then the
area will be cleared for harvesting. we do not want to be harvesting
an area where tiny tuna are still to small to be safely screened out
and returned to the sea. We are growing large tanks of Alga for the
Bio-fuel industry why can't we grow tanks of Plankton to replace any
that may slip through the screening prosses.
