Hi,
Depends how bad the damage is. If the seats are split VLP will repair
the seat without a patch as it will glue the edges of the split
together stronger than the original vinyl. Vyna Bond will repair the
seats if a patch is required.
A coating of Plasti Dip will give a new rubberized finish, although if
the seats are badly damaged and are pitted where pieces of vinyl have
fallen out Plasti Dip will cover the surface with a rubberized finish
but may still show some pitting. In this case you could try filling
the pitting with VLP and once dry use Plasti Dip to give a rubberized
finish. Coats required would be brush-on 2-3, spray 4-5.
