Blythe: Colleen AF Venable is the author of the book and as well as the Creative Director at OddDot Books (the imprint who published the book). She art directed and designed this book ON TOP OF writing it. I know I may be biased, but she is absolutely brilliant (as is Justin, the editor, and the rest of the OddDot team. They are all amazing). When I received the manuscript the vehicles were already indicated in the art notes. All the surprising and genius choices of vehicles had already been decided; so, I happily take none of the credit for the concept.

Blythe: Number 3! I loved drawing that steamroller! That was the vehicle that (more-or-less) got me the book. I was busy doing my 100 day project in 2017 when my incredible agent, Molly, mentioned I should include some vehicles in my daily sketches. (She had known Colleen was working on ONE MORE WHEEL.) I chose a steamroller and lo-and-behold that just happened to be the three-wheeled vehicle being highlighted in the book. So, number 3 is special.

The Licca is more slender than Blythe, and I believe more child-like. It naturally sits a with the legs further apart, with the arms pointed inwards. The takara body has her legs naturally closer together, with the palms of her hands pointed slightly outwards.

Here we can see the difference that all those joints make. The Pure Neemo happily contorts itself into different shapes. It can bend at the elbow, rotate the hands, move the feet, which both the Takara and the Licca do not. All 3 bodies do twist at the waist. The Takara body has 3 clicks in the knee and can keep 4 leg positions (straight, slightly bending, a bit more bending, almost 90 degrees). The Licca body does not have any knee joints and is wired like spaghetti, where you bend and the whole leg kind of does an arc. In my humble opinion, I like the knees on the Takara the most.

Here are the three getting ready to rock-and roll. On the left is Quinn on the Licca (I think she looks adorable in it), Curly Blue Babe Minji in the stock body (Takara) and Nori in her Pure Neemo. The sun came out from behind wherever it has been hiding these past months and blinded my camera.

Hi! This post is really helpful. Thank you so much for taking th time to do it. I was wondering if you could answer one of my questions. I have an original Kenner Blythe, but she has a lack of legs. Do you know if the legs or the lower part of a Takara body would fit for her? I have been recommended to not open her head because she has a different assembling than Neo Blythes. I wanted a Pure Neemo body for her but I really prefer to take more care of her and just change her lower body.

I really wanted a nighttime solution that worked for the whole night and also was natural fibers given the amount of time worn. And so far I love this insert and the preflat as well! Together they are the perfect absorbancy for overnight paired with a wool cover.

I purchased two Chai Latte Wrap diapers, because I thought I would Like them and I wasn't dissapointed. They are so pretty and absolutely soft! The absorbency is more then enough for my 3month old (but we practice Elimination communication)

I have SO many cloth wipes. I didn't need any more, but wanted to try this smaller size for use with Noleo (which I really like using, too). I found my new favorite fabric - bamboo hemp spandex! I love the feel of it and how absorbent it is.

I REALLY like these dyed fitteds. The colors are lovely and the fit is just right. I purchased a few of these and one without snaps. I enjoy using both. A booster is great for a bit longer time between diaper changes. I like having fitteds for a quick diaper change (especially when someone else is changing my little one). Thanks for offering these, Blythe!
