PlasmaPy initiative paper for community planning process

Hello everyone,

We are writing an initiative paper on PlasmaPy that will be submitted to the APS DPP Community Planning Process.  We hope to show that there is strong community support for an open source software ecosystem for plasma physics, so I encourage you to add your name to the author list or the list of advocates in the google doc linked above to show support.  We'll submit this late on Monday, July 1 so that it can be discussed at the upcoming DPP-CPP workshop.

PS: Most of our ongoing discussions and reminders have been happening on PlasmaPy's Matrix channel lately.  Our next biweekly community meeting will be on Tuesday, July 9 at 18 UT using Jitsi, with future meetings listed in this google calendar.
