Here's a presentation I gave to our ACM club the other day - it gives
a nice introduction to Plasmacore for anyone new to it!

Keynote presentation (Mac):

Hmm, seems like the video is crapping out on Windows, even with my
recent Quicktime update. Let me know if it DOES work for you...

It's working just fine for me. Great presentation! iTunes hasn't
bugged me about upgrading lately, so I assume I have the latest
Quicktime, and I'm running XP SP3.

Great presentation Abe.

Although there is already enough literature and sample code to figure
things out, I'd still like to make a more advanced presentation that
goes through the _entire_ creation of a relatively simple game using
Plasmacore. I know it always inspires and helps me really grasp
something like that when I can see every single detailed added from
the ground up and how it flows together, without having to assemble
the pieces from the language spec myself.

To go along with that we should also put up a fairly thorough library
of sample code illustrating how to do various atomic things like:
File i/o, threads, networking, drawing, user input, etc.

Also, should probably add powerpoint and maybe iworks 08 to the
downloadable presentation formats.

Agreed on all points!

iWorks '09 doesn't work with iWorks '08? That's a little
disappointing.

The link [Quicktime for Windows] doesn't seem to be working well. It
seems to be a recursive loop with the first two slides only.
Could you check the link please?

Thanks!
