Trouble Building Doppio

I recently forked Doppio, and am attempting to build it to begin work. I have the most recet version of node, grunt, git, Python2.* and the JDK installed globally, and in the path.

When I run npm install, I get an error:

Running "check_jdk" task
Warning: Task "check_jdk" failed. Use --force to continue.

If there is not an immediately noticeable cause, I'm just missing, I'd be more than happy to post the debug_log for you. I've been spending a good bit of time trying to figure it out.
