to PLASMA at UMass: Google Summer of Code

Hi everyone!

I've spoken with a number of folks on IRC and email, and things have been great so far!

Just a reminder, please check out the timeline here: https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/timeline as the student application period is now OPEN and ENDS on March 25.

Between now and then, we're here to answer questions, work with you on the starter tasks (which some people have already completed - big shout out to Shivam Kakkar and Romans Volosatovs), and give feedback on proposals before the final deadline of March 25.

The best way to get feedback on proposals is to enter them into the GSoC system here: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com and mark them as a draft. For the actual document - Google Docs is encoraged as it will allow mentors to directly comment on the proposal.
