Sims 4 Weather Mod Without Seasons

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Batuu, but only Outdoor Retreat and the Little Campers Kit are enabled.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have Seasons installed, but disabled via the launch options. Have a Sim start manicuring a bonsai tree. Unknown whether you need to have Seasons installed, or if the base game uses the flower arranging skill for the bonsai tree even if you haven't purchased Seasons.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Sim will gain flower arranging skill instead of gardening from manicuring the bonsai.
What do you expect to see? If Seasons isn't enabled/installed, Sims should gain gardening skill from manicuring a bonsai.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Again, this is coming up when I have Seasons purchased/installed, but disabled through the launch options. I don't know if this happens if you don't have Seasons purchased/installed at all. As you can see in my screenshot, I clearly don't have Seasons enabled (no weather on the bottom UI, and version numbers only list Outdoor Retreat and the Little Campers Kit.) The tooltip for flower arranging only lists the "Violets are Blue Flower Arranging Table" for leveling the skill, though I know they made the bonsais level it too. However, since this is a Seasons-specific skill, it shouldn't be able to be gained with Seasons disabled. I don't know if this is a bug, or if they actually added the flower arranging skill to the base game--and if they did, why the flower arranging table isn't available for purchase and/or the tooltip isn't updated to list the bonsai for leveling the skill.
I don't remember ever seeing it for the bonsai, but I have on several occasions received the flower arranging skill from the soul stuff the ghosts leave behind in the Paranormal Stuff Pack. I don't own Seasons.
Hi, I've recently purchased the island living and just noticed I gained flower arranging skill from pruning the bonsai. I don't have seasons so not quite sure why it came up in the notifications feed or why it even gave me the skills instead of gardening skills

So I said almost a year ago that I was only seeing flower arranging coming from Paranormal, not the bonsai. That was around the time I purchased Werewolves; I don't remember if it was before or after. Since then I've added City Living, Kids Room Stuff, and the Desert Luxe Kit. I still don't own Seasons. I'm now seeing my Sims gain flower arranging from the bonsai.
Hi, I tried to talk to online support and they said I had to come here. I already tried to look here for an answer and I have no idea what anyone is talking about with how to fix it. I don't know what Mods are and I don't know if I have any.
I downloaded Seasons and I have a calendar, but holidays never happen. They'll be there, but just disappear. It also never snows, rains, or gets hot. My sims can wear shorts or swim in the winter and never complain.
I'm not quite sure about the holiday issue, but for the weather problems load a saved game, press escape, then go to Game Options > Seasons and verify that all the options are set how you'd like them to be. It's possible that you may have the temperature effects on sims and rain and snow disabled.

To utilize these cheats, first obtain the Sim's in-game ID by using the command 'get_sim_id_by_name [first name] [last name]', which provides an ID number. This ID can then be used in subsequent cheats to affect the selected Sim:
Altering season traits offers several benefits, as highlighted in Peter Plays It's video. For instance, becoming a Storm Chaser allows your Sim to control and become immune to lightning during storms, enabling your Sim to gain a happier mood under such conditions and become Energized by the weather. This adds a unique and quirky dimension to the gameplay of The Sims 4.
For those less patient (or less willing to risk electrocution trying to mess with nature), there are also several cheat codes that allow you to freely set the weather.
Regardless of which world you're in or what the current weather is there, open the cheat command center, enable cheats, and enter one of the following codes to change the current weather or the entire season.
Finally, maybe you've had enough of the game's temperamental temperatures. Maybe you've moved into Oasis Springs and can't handle the desert heat. Maybe you've ended up in Mt. Komorebi and are ready to start an outdoor garden without the snow.
If you'd like to turn off weather completely, you can opt to do so from the game's settings. To do so, head to the Environment tab in the game's settings, which opens a menu of Seasons-related options.
Here, you can disable weather and keep static sunshine like in the base game. Alternatively, you can change the intensity of the weather, as well as how often the season changes.
Another major addition has been the inclusion of an actual calendar and all the holidays. Actually pulling up on my calendar what holidays and events were coming up in the future was a really nice, and really needed feature. Actually knowing when things were going to happen has been a guessing game until now, and it is a feature I did not know I fully needed until i used it. It was definitely a small addition but one that changed the game for the better.
My biggest complaint in the whole expansion is the fact that there is no new town. All the the major expansions before have given us a new town to play in that heavily featured the expansions stuff. While I was bummed about this, at the same time I can forgive them. What they did instead was made seasons fully integrated into all the other towns, and they did extremely well. No matter what town you are in snow will cover the whole map, and beautifully. Rain will cause ripples in pools and bodies of water. Leaves will be all over the town. Sometimes the towns I have played so many times before feel new and have so much to go out and do. While I would have liked to have seen a new town altogether, what they did with the existing towns was incredible.
