UPDATE (15/04/2019): The album's lead single, called Medellin, was released on April 17. It's a collaboration with Colombian reggaeton star Maluma. When she revealed the single, Madonna also confirmed the album's release date of June 14.

Madonna was recently announced as the half-time performer at this year's Eurovision Song Content final on May 18. It has been confirmed she will perform a brand new song as well as one of her classic tracks.

This certainly looks something very different and new, will be very interesting to see what it pans out to be. There is never lack of any trying on madonna's part and throughout her career has never failed to do different things. Last few albums haven't made that much of an impact and singles have lessened in popularity not so much quality though. Could this finally lead madonna back into younger generation interest?

I think there are always good songs on all Madonna albums, that's why I keep buying her records. "Music" for me was his worst and maybe "American Life" and "True Blue" her absolute best as far as I am concerned. But all her albums have good tracks (and not all of them were singles : that's the problem with recent albums : bad singles choices)

I agree "Rebel Heart" was a true return to form. Especially after the disastrous "MDNA". But as I said, bad singles choices ruined his chances for good charts performances. ("Living For Love" as first single and then " I'm Madonna" I was so mad at her for this).

The day she released " I'm Madonna" as a single when I heard "Hold Tight" instead everywhere I went (on the radio, at McDonald's etc) I knew the carreer of this album was doomed. Even the radios prefer "Hold Tight" to "" and I couldn't blame them.
