Grace Alameda Prayer Requests – 9/26/12

Thank you for partnering with us in prayer. We are blessed to know so many of you are lifting us up as we plant this church to the glory of God and the good of our city.

Updates:

• On August 26, we were officially sent out by Christ Church and released to plant. It was a blessed time to remember what God has done in San Francisco, and an exciting time of anticipating what he will do in Alameda. 
• Earlier this month, we had an Interest Meeting for the church plant. It was an exciting time to discuss the vision of Grace Alameda. You can go here to see pictures and find out a little more about it.
• This Sunday, 9/30, at 4pm we will have our first plant team meeting. This will be a time for all of us who feel called to be part of the plant to grow, plan and prepare for the plant, and dream together about what God may do among us here. Can't wait!

Prayer Requests:

• Our first plant team meeting! Pray that God's will be done and that there is unity and excitement about the church vision. Pray for me as well, that I would lead and communicate humbly and effectively.
• Meeting location: Please pray that God would open doors and make the way forward clear. 
• Friends and neighbors: We are still praying that God would save 10 people in the first year of our plant. Only he can do it. Pray that he would through us!
• Financial provision: Our Father owns everything, and has already provided in exciting ways. Pray that he would continue to do so and that we would meet our goals of $60k prior to launch (Easter, 2013) and $100k within the first year.

Thank you for your partnership in prayer. It is incredibly encouraging to know you are all lifting us up to our God. We pray he would do his will among us and use us to reach and bless Alameda and the East Bay.
