Topcon GNSS receiver compatibility with Field Maps

Hi all,

At Mt. Cuba Center, we are currently mapping with the Topcon HiPer VR GNSS receiver and a Topcon FC-6000 Windows tablet. It's been great at getting high-accuracy points, but we are unable to get it to connect to ArcGIS Field Maps or any iOS device. The problem seems to be its encrypted bluetooth, which only lets the GNSS receiver talk to other Topcon instruments. There's a subscription fee for decrypting the bluetooth, but even with the trial run I tested, it won't connect. Does anyone else have experience mapping with Topcon instruments and have gotten them to connect to Field Maps or something similar? I'd love to start mapping through Field Maps to use IrisBG-ArcGIS mobile. Any advice would be appreciated!
