Do you have a snazzy GIS dashboard, story map, or other, relating to your plant mapping efforts, workflows, and projects?

We'd love to see how GIS supports or highlights your plant mapping efforts and workflows.

Please share here in the thread with a little blurb.

I really try to get staff who are interested, particularly our interpretative staff to utilize story maps to create digital content, using our plant records data to assist them in creating plant tours. Recently, our manager of interpretation and visitor learning created a story map highlighting climate resilient trees

I had an intern working with me in plant collections this summer who made this StoryMap on trees at Filoli. This is the first product of GIS that we really shared with the public.

I love this, and will add to the GIS reference sheet for Gardens, if that is alright.

Does anyone have any Dashboards or public maps they use for their work with Plants and are willing to share? ie Data Collection, Story Telling, Dashboards, etcetera? I'd like to include examples on a reference sheet to highlight the advantages of GIS at APGA this year.

Hey Jena,

Here is a Story Map that that our manager of interpretation and guest education worked on this past year:

Not as snazzy, but very much used by the public and our staff:

Hi All,

At Blue Raster we help public gardens extend the limits of Esri's configurable applications through professional design and HTML, CSS, Python and Arcade. This can be done in Field Maps forms and the tasks coming this summer, Survey123 forms, StoryMaps, Dashboards, Experience Builder apps, and more.

We're an Esri Business Partner with over a decade experience working with public gardens.

Happy to talk with anyone struggling to implement your Esri workflows or to help you add something special!

Thanks,
Chris

Some configurable Esri examples of where we've partnered to help those in the garden community include:

Public Applications
Staff Workflows
Drone imagery capture, processing and basemaps

Hi Everyone!

Here is a very simple one that I created for some Historical and Unique Trees found within the Oregon State University Campus Arboretum. I'm hoping to get student volunteers involved in making future StoryMaps tours for the arboretum.
