Please find the schedule for the Final Year Design Project - II oral presentations. We appreciate your kind contribution in this important evaluation activity on Wednesday 05^th Dec 2012.

-          One group will present for 30 mins and 15 mins for Q&A session.

-          Coverage is FYDPI and FYDPII activities.

-          Evaluation will be based on Group and Individual.

With regards to our final presentation next week,  there are several important things that havent prepared yet. i hope we can conduct

aisyah : pfd after heat integration

sam : mass balance subject to new pfd, p&id

wani : energy balance with additional equipment

all : cost for each equipment based on design.

for slides presentation,  based on slides template from aisyah, meybe we can start to choose and distribute the task. so that we can start early. i hope we could have meeting about our presentation on monday nite for rehearsal. any objection? so here are the list :

1) first presenter covers : -problem statement, project objective , literature review,conclusion

2) second :conceptual design and flow sheet

3) third : control strategy

4) fourth : safety hazop plant layout

5) fifth : waste treatment

6) sixth : economic evaluation

maybe we could distribute this based on preference. anyone wanna start first? Attached is the marking scheme for the presentation.

ok, after revising this, i want sam to present the usage of MAN replacing osama and i don't know about waddaa...

osam, if you feel that waddaa should present the waste treatment, then kindly pm her... but she still have to do the conclusion and recommendation... thx~

since we only have 30 minutes to present.i'm afraid we dont have enough time to present all of this separately. literature review,objective and product is just a simple one. we dont one to waste much time on that. too much changes just waste more time and doesnt sound proper since each part is quite short.

i guess it is okay if the presenter dont know much about the presentation. since we gonna have rehearsal. so thath we can help each other. and we are going to have external examiner which is professional and industrila expert.  im afraid that the sequences is not proper.

that's why we need reherasal to assist each other. i'm agree if conceptual design wil be divided into to person since it's quite heavy and the marks are the highest. this is btw, a group project and everyone should know at least most of it if you cant understand all. 

in case of wadda, just for back up incase she have appointment about her health problem, maybe some one can take incharge. or to be on safer side. she can do only conclusion part. 

overall, for me, i'm agree with the distribution from few of last part. just maybe we can reduce the conceptual design to two person or three and put literature and everything to one person.

how about wani start it until the lit review since you can cover the market study and site selction part

then, for the conceptual design and flowsheet is remain the same except for process route, osama will present instead of akmal (just a simple explanation )

next will be sam + wani, akmal, osama, aishah and lastly wadda (i will backup her in case anything)

Since we dont really elaborate that but give them the pfd. so instead of back to back to akmal just because of brief explanation, doesnt looks good. but if that part can be present after separator and sequencing, iguess the arrangement is ok.

btw, how about time allocation for each part? so that we can estimate our time subject to our content before coming to rehearsal.
