Missing functionality from 7.10?

Hi,
First off, great to see a new version - v8.x is looking great. So
apologies if this list of issues seems unappreciative, that is not the
case, it is just that I currently cannot move off v7.10 because of
these.

In looking at updating from 7.10 I have found a couple of issues so
far:

$options{show_event_background_color_descriptions} = 1; - this does
not work for me. The colors are coming up but there is no description
shown in the drop down list.

The make custom calendar functionality does not seem to work - I can
add the option ###custom calendar link### to the template file which
creates a URL but nothing happens when I click the URL

The issue I raised in 7.10 with events not shown if they have a
duration of over 6 months still exists. I have changed the SQL to fix
this so not too worried.

The remote calendar functionality does not seem to be complete. There
is no tick box to enable a calendar to be remotely accessed, and if
you do this via the database and then add a remote calendar, there is
no way to remove the remote calendar again.

There used to be an option you could set "All calendars together in
list view" but there is no where to set this.
