This is my installation.

http://www.lavidaenlasvegas.com/calendario/plans.cgi

I have printed out the installation documentation for Plans and have
followed the first couple of instructions on trying to remedy my
errors but for fear of making a further mess, I thought I'd see if
someone else can tell me where the big "DUH" is. My first problem is
I have absolutely no knowledge of PERL. The rest follows...

I would greatly appreciate the help.

Looking at the html of your calendar I see that all the href/src url's are different from the calendar url.  The url supplied is no accessible.  Either the directory where you put the themes and such has the wrong permissions, or Plans didn't get the site address right.  In plans_config.pl there is an option, $options{calendar_url}, that can be set if Plans isn't guessing it's address right.

So, if you have made a separate folder for the themes make sure that the folder has the right permissions.  If you haven't then try setting the calendar_url setting.

Good luck.

You are absolutely right. The theme/ directory is outside of the
plans (or "calendario" in my case) directory because the installation
instructions for Plans recommended to do this if I got "no borders,
fonts, or colors" in case my host does not allow static files from the
same directory as "plans (calendario)".

You are also right again. My calendar_url was missing a "/". I fixed
that. Thank you :) I have triple checked the permissios on all
files and subfolders and there were some changes needed that are now
done.

However, I still get the same layout. At the bottom of the page, I
click on the "Done but with errors on the page" and I get the
following error messages:

Message: 'jQuery' is undefined
Line: 17
Char: 1
Code: 0
URI: http://www.lavidaenlasvegas.com/calendario/plans.cgi

Message: 'jQuery' is undefined
Line: 34
Char: 1
Code: 0
URI: http://www.lavidaenlasvegas.com/calendario/plans.cgi

Any ideas? Thanks.

If you've moved the theme folder out of the calendar folder, change
chmd 770 for 755 --worked for me.
