I recently had a questions from a parent about these rules and I
wanted to put them up somewhere accessible to the group. If anyone has
experience with using cloth in daycare please share you experience to
help out others parents do the same.

Thanks,

I've never put my son in daycare, but I run a home daycare. I welcome cloth diapers.

Thanks for letting us know. That gets me thinking that we should setup a list of known cloth friendly childcare options locally.

Melanie please send me contact, website, etc.. and I will add it to a list.

Anyone else who runs or knows of cloth friendly location please send their info too.

Thanks again,

Angela ... Thanks for sending this info. This will be VERY important for
our customers.

On the flip side, RDA/RDIA has a project ongoing to identify daycares within
the US that will accept children in cloth diapers. I have not heard
anything form this group in quite awhile, so perhaps it may be a good idea
to check with RDA to see how they have progressed.

Now for a shameless plug … We also carry wetbags called Wonder Bags.  They are $25.00 and have 2 compartments: one for clean/dry diapers and the other for wet.  We believe they can hold up to 4 Infant size diapers (either wet or dry) so may be very useful for a daycare setting where a single bag is used.

Please visit our online store at http://shop.bluebonnetdiaperservice.com/ for a description and ordering info.

We just added a new page to our website based on the work on this project. The page has links to some great tips for using cloth in daycare and links to the regulations in all 50 states.

Right after you posted this comment we finally added a new page to the
RDA website with daycare links and tips as a part of this project.
Check it out at http://realdiaperassociation.org/daycare/index.php.
