Given the inactive status of this listserv, I think this will be the last time we send a call for our newsletter. We are transitioning to a new editor, Erick Lopez. But for old time's sake, see below!
CALL FOR ARTICLES ON TECHNOLOGY AND PLANNING - SPRING 2015
Submissions due: Friday, April 3, 2015
Planning and Technology Today, the newsletter of the American Planning Association's Technology Division, is seeking articles for its Spring 2015 edition. Distributed to over 400 practicing planners, consultants, and technologists, the newsletter is an ideal way to share cutting-edge projects.
The spring issue will also be distributed at the APA National Conference in Seattle.
We are interested in articles on the following topics:
- Planning tools
- Scenario planning
- GIS tools and applications
- Participation involving technology
- Visualization of data in a planning context
- Book reviews
- Opinion articles
We ask short articles to be around 400 words or less, and longer feature articles should be around 800 words. Drafts are due by April 3. Send inquiries and articles to co-editors Rob Goodspeed (
rob.go...@gmail.com) or Erick Lopez (
plannin...@gmail.com).
