Hi everyone --
Things are pretty quiet on this list, but I wanted to take a moment to say hello and (re)introduce myself. I'm wondering if others from the planningtech group are at New Partners for Smart Growth this week?
I work at OpenPlans on software for planning. I'm interested in promoting open source tools and open source thinking in city planning, in particular around collaboration and meaningful public involvement. Our CoPlan project is a first step in that direction - see this recent Streetsblog article: http://bit.ly/fdTQq8. I'm also interested in land use, modeling and GIS, plus blogging about open source planning, and hands-on action.
Hope to run into a few people at NPSG or elsewhere soon!
