Fun features: This house has an open plan and huge "skylights," making it easy to play with. The three sections are also separate, allowing them to be used separately or rearranged for a custom play experience.

This house is an updated version of the pink Victorian house. It came with updated furniture and significantly more accessories. It should be noted that while this house also has an elevator, its elevator is not battery-operated.

Fun features: First, the third story on this house can be removed and played with separately. This house also has a spiral staircase, sound features and great amenities for Barbie, such as a washer and dryer and a full bathroom setup with sink, tub and toilet.

Fun features: This house is almost identical, feature-wise, to the 2009 house. Something of note is both houses include a shower instead of a tub, most likely for space reasons. Most Dreamhouses up to this point had tubs instead of showers, if a bathroom was included at all.

Fun features: This house has two elevators: one in the center of the house for dolls and one in the walk-in closet for accessories. The accessories elevator goes down to the bathroom, so Barbie can pick out her outfit and send it down to the bathroom to change into after a shower!

Fun features: This house actually has a garage with a garage door so Barbie can park her car! This is the first Barbie house with this feature. It also had a TV with a flip-down feature so you could insert a smartphone and play your own videos.

Note: This house was released under multiple stock numbers, but each is essentially identical. According to the Mattel parts website, the house was released in 2015 with stock numbers CJR47 and DHC10, and in 2016 under stock #FFY84.

Fun features: The best part of this house is that it can be customized. The pool, slide and lawn pieces can be placed in different spaces on and around the house. This house also has a wheelchair-accessible elevator and three beds for Barbie and her sisters!

Let me preface this somewhat critical look at Barbie with the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed this movie (I even paid to see it, in theaters, twice). But something about this movie stopped me from completely changing my wardrobe to hot pink and making my entire apartment into a Barbie dream house.

As the July 21st release date for Barbie The Movie is finally upon us, there is still great hope among Barbie fans and collectors everywhere around the globe that Mattel will plan to release one of the most exciting features from the film; the movie-accurate version of Barbie's Dreamhouse as seen in Barbie The Movie! Possibly along with the upcoming second wave of movie dolls, or at least in time for Christmas? If such plans are not yet a part of Mattel's upcoming product releases however, the signatures included in this petition collectively and officially make the request for Mattel to create a special edition Barbie Dreamhouse that accurately reflects the stunning Dreamhouse seen in Barbie The Movie, as well as prominently featured in promotional photos and on all of the movie product packaging!

Blueprints for this house design already exist (all official glam shots of the movie dolls featured here, include Mattel's prototype mock-up of the Dreamhouse). Plus, Mattel has already released this iteration of the movie Dreamhouse in Mega (building blocks) form; which is amazing! But with the tremendous promotion and marketing for Barbie The Movie it would be a huge oversight to let something already so iconic and important to collectors of the Barbie franchise slip through the cracks! Therefore, this petition aims to urge Mattel to bring this dream into reality by producing a collector's edition Barbie Dreamhouse that faithfully replicates every aspect of its on-screen counterpart in scale with their beloved doll line.

1. Meeting Collector Demand:
There is a thriving community of passionate collectors who are already customizing their own creations of this Dreamhouse across YouTube, Instagram, etc. By creating a movie-accurate Barbie Dreamhouse, Mattel can cater directly to these dedicated enthusiasts who value authenticity and attention to detail.

2. Expanding Market Potential:
A collector's edition Barbie Dreamhouse would not only appeal to existing fans but also attract new customers intrigued by its unique design elements inspired by the movie (as featured in Margot Robbie's tour of the actual Dreamhouse movie set for Architectural Digest). This could potentially lead to increased sales and market growth for Mattel.

3. Showcasing Innovation:
Mattel has always been at the forefront of innovation in toy manufacturing, constantly pushing boundaries with their imaginative creations. Producing a meticulously crafted replica of the movie Dreamhouse would demonstrate their commitment to excellence while showcasing their ability to bring fantasy into reality.

4. Enhancing Brand Reputation:
Considering the success of the movie even ahead of its official theatrical release date, in terms of marketing and sales of products that continue to sell out as quickly as they are restocked, Mattel would further solidify its successful position as an industry leader by delivering on this petition's request, while staying committed not only to providing children with endless play possibilities but also catering to adult collectors' desires for one of their most successful and longest established signature brands.

Mattel has a unique opportunity to bring joy to Barbie enthusiasts worldwide by creating a movie-accurate Dreamhouse that collectors can proudly display in their homes. Let us unite our voices and show Mattel our unwavering support for this endeavor!

If you or someone you know would LOVE to display their fantastic Barbie The Movie dolls in an official piece of cinematic perfection, please sign, share, and post this petition, and help bring Barbieland a little bit closer to our own Real World!

The team behind Gerwig thoroughly researched the various Old Hollywood styles, including films and indoor/outdoor furnishings, to create the ideal dream house for Barbie. The London set of Barbie Dream House boasts many meticulously crafted pieces, such as hand-painted artworks and handmade items. Instead of relying on CGI, the backdrop features a beautiful hand-painted depiction of the sky and the San Jacinto Mountains.

This enchanting closet features a lively pink color scheme and includes a magnificent vitrine for displaying perfectly coordinated outfits. It serves as the starting point for creating magical looks reminiscent of the world of dolls, where outfits and hairstyles can be changed in an almost unrealistic manner. The charmed bedroom of Barbie is a delightful haven. The team combined a velvet-upholstered clamshell headboard with a sequined coverlet.

Leading up to the film's release, it seems like everyone is dreaming up what the Barbie world would look like in real life. Social media and the internet have seen a tidal wave of Barbie selfie filters, Barbie memes, Barbie Air BnB's and general Barbie imagery. Oh, the hype is real!

I came across an interesting BuzzFeed article that joined in on the Barbie bandwagon. A content creator managed to make a Barbie Dreamhouse for Each State, and the results are incredible. You should check out the New Jersey Dream house - it's a gorgeous Jersey Shore house.

So as we can see, A.I. decided to opt for a "Jersey Shore" aesthetic, since the whole country seems to think "Jersey Shore" is the state's entire personality. But if Barbie were to buy a New Jersey home, she'd totally go for the beach!

Ignore Kelly's warped face that looks like it's being sucked into a different dimension. This generated image took more of an interior/exterior approach with an backyard outdoor balcony and patio with a huge pool. This would easily be at least a million-dollar house if it went up on the market at any of the Jersey shores.
