Ch 29-33 are ready for your comments and suggested edits. I think Conrad already looked at some of these, but I don't remember getting comments from Timothy. Timothy, if you're still too exhausted, don't worry about it. There's no hurry on any of this. Oh, and by the way, I ended up splitting one of the chapters in two small ones (Ch 30 became Ch 30 & 31). In any case, let me know what you think.

PLEASE REMEMBER to change "EDITING" to "SUGGESTING" (near the upper right-hand corner) before doing any edits.

Hi there,

You'll be pleased to see that for the first time in some six weeks I've actually sat up at my desk, plugged my laptop in and tried to do some 'work' as I fondly call it.  (I'm signed off *actual* work until the 18th at least.  Possibly longer.)

It's been an interesting experience.  I've only managed ch29 and that's taken about an hour which seems ridiculously slow compared to previously and I've also developed something of a headache so I'm afraid I'm going to stop now for at least something of a break.
BUT I have sat up, I have managed an hour and that's all positive.  (Plus you'll probably be pleased to see that I've chosen this to do first amongst the million other things clamouring for my attention.  I *had* thought I could use this time off work to get lots of projects done but I've been a bit surprised and very disappointed at just how low I've felt and unable to do very much at all.  I have better days and worse days rather than a 'continuous improvement' but I dare say I'm better this week than I was last week and hope to be better still next week.

So my apologies this is all rather slow/late/frustrating - but it's been great getting back into the story and I've LOLd several times which seems to me a good sign.  Other comments you can read.

Trust you're both well, I assume from what looks like ongoing email traffic (which I'm afraid I've been unable to keep up with - and don't start me on work email piling up unread!), that you're going great guns!

Take care

cheers

tc

I saw your comments on Ch29 and have replied to them, in one case with a question.

Glad to hear you're mending. Sporadic progress is better than none.

Regarding A&E comments, there's still plenty of time, but if you want to hold off and wait until the next issue, just let me know.

I echo Jim's statement on mending, and am glad our shared work brings you some comfort and laughs. Stay the course, and my warmest wishes for recovery.

I don't think I said thank you both for your concern.

It's still slow progress and I'm back at QA tomorrow for yet another medical appointment but they've been getting on top of some pain I've been having so that's good.

Still off work and likely to be to the end of the month at least.

all the best
