Grameen set a tradition, seconded by other major grassroots networks
such as BRAC and ASA that pretty well anyone dedicated enough to come
to Dhaka could - and thereby decide whether they would be a lifelong
people's ambassador to ending poverty
In the first series of posts in this thread, quotes are made from an
hour of video interviewing with Grameen interns in the summer of 2008,
a period when over 60 interns are networking through Grameen.
Other ways to practice with Grameen are the dialogues - about 70 have
now been held 3 times a year in a room that looks a bit like a micro
united nations decked up with a microphone for every delegate; and
Grameen's partnerships with the world's largest organisations have
been expoentially increasing - with microeconomic impacts celebrating
humanity and sustainability of communities in over 40 countries
