Dear Colleagues,

I'm pleased to forward an announcement of this MEERTALK by Steve Keen, a heterodox economist (like myself), whom I believe is one of the most prominent and interesting poitical economists of our times. Steve, for example, is widely recognized as one of the eleven economists who predicted the financial crisis with models and timing (many radical economists had no doubt that a major crash was coming  - I for example presented a theoretical paper at the American  Economic Association on this and later on an empirical paper dating the crash for the Illinois economy but no direct empiricial analysis for the global economy) but Steve had a general financial crash model with data and a timing estimate. His work on Nordhaus and mainstream climate modeling is even more eye opening.  Needless to say I highly recommend attending this talk if can!
