The Washington Post ran an article today focusing on Stardust and Make Sunsets.  The now usual suspects Shuchi Talati and David Keith were quoted as strongly against private sector involvement

Andrew Lockley not surprisingly was quoted as follows:

“If Elon [Musk] says he’s starting tomorrow, well that just frees up my weekends.”

Enjoy this gifted article.

Article might make sense IF governments were funding and scientists were studying geoengineering possibilities.

Absent those two things, why is anyone surprised that money seekers see opportunities popping up under their noses?

There is a crack, a crack in everything, That's how the light gets in.”
