Found this interesting. Any thoughts?

"The 'Meatocracy' comprising Big Meat, Big Pharma, Big Chem and Big Media is the weakest link in the 'Corporatocracy' that is destroying the planet, torturing the animals and ruining our health, because it is entirely dependent on our willingness to play along."

"It’s a fact. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of climate change. It is not sustainable or acceptable any more." https://climatehealers.org/the-science/the-facts/

"This 'Meatocracy' . . . contribute[s] to more cruelty, disease, pollution and environmental destruction than all other sectors of human activity combined . . . The #1 drivers of this mass extinction crisis are global deforestation and climate change. And the #1 cause of global deforestation and climate change is Global Animal Agriculture (GAAg) . . . Citing core, fundamental flaws in the FAO’s accounting methodology, respected independent scientists have countered that GAAg is responsible for closer to 51% or greater of annual GHGs [green house gas emissions] . . . The most efficient and cost-effective way to reverse climate change and halt mass species extinction is the mass transition of society to a Vegan diet." (Taken from the first article at the link.)

I admire your passion and sympathise with your goals, but your claim is not true that “the most efficient and cost-effective way to reverse climate change and halt mass species extinction is the mass transition of society to a Vegan diet.”

Political and cultural resistance to this objective mean that it will take a long time, if ever, to achieve it.  In the meantime, the collapse of planetary reflectivity is causing tipping points that will wreck the climate well before any cooling from dietary change can occur.  The most effective climate strategy is a thoroughgoing scientific and political realism, putting evidence and logic as our primary moral values, and questioning the feasibility of emotionally attractive proposals that lack a critical engineering path to delivery.
