Apparent slowdown in melting of Arctic sea ice

Dear Peter,

The graph in [1] shows no apparent decline trend in sea ice since 2012 and its rebound in 2013. But now we have broken ice which could mean volume continuing to decline and albedo continuing to decline. How do we find out?
