Rob de Laet and colleagues are organizing a major platform to raise money to cool and restore the Amazon thus contributing to cooling the climate everywhere through ecosystem restoration. 

Ecosystem restoration is a key component of the HPAC mission statement and so I hope you all take a look at this link above. 

I interviewed Rob and his colleague and coauthor Peter Bunyard about their plans for the Amazon at the Global Climate Tipping Points conference in Exeter in July.
