Dear Joshua,

It was good to see that you made a comment on LinkedIn about the Nordic Council of Ministers report on AMOC calling for research into climate intervention technologies.  The Planetary Restoration Action Group (PRAG) which I chair has been looking into Arctic tipping points with the help of Peter Wadhams, Mike MacCracken and others.  Our conclusion is that the Arctic temperature has to be lowered, and this is really urgent because tipping elements, including the AMOC, are approaching a point of no return.  SO2 injection into the stratosphere at mid to high latitude in late spring and early summer seems the best bet.  We are seeking support for this urgent action.  There is so much at stake.
