Here is a new cartoon I have made to help understand climate policy. Sunlight reflection (known as planetary albedo) is an important but neglected public good, like a lighthouse, which benefits everyone. Reflecting more sunlight back to space from clouds, ice, snow and aerosols is the most effective way to cool the Earth. This can be achieved through an Albedo Accord, modelled on the Montreal Protocol. The world economy is in stormy waters, threatening to hit the rocks, but cooling the climate can help to alleviate some pressures, both through reducing risk of climate and social tipping points and by showing the way towards a shared cooperative vision of a brighter and cooler planet.

Thanks for the  cartoon.   Well done.  It  carries a message that needs to be told and retold.   And it is not in the form of sentences and  paragraphs and documents and data tables.  

 

Except for a few, cartoons have short life spans.   About climate change (not albedo) there have been thousands, and people (most) now recognize those climate themes.   Is there a plan for making more of this type of information?   And how to get it to the public?

 

Unless you are or have access to artists,  I assume that you used AI to generate the  image.    Nice!!!   Could there be more?    Any details or comments  about cartoons for albedo would be appreciated.
