We have done the calculations without reliance on models. The heating trend is to 2C by 2040, having already reached 1.5C. The Arctic is warming about 4 x faster. There's no way to prevent total Arctic meltdown without cooling, and our calculations suggest over 0.5 petawatt of cooling power might be needed, hence SAI. Herb, how was this missed at the Exeter tipping point conference?
