At the thermal maximum, 6 to 9 kya, temperatures were similar to today's.  The Arctic Ocean was seasonally ice free and now we know parts of Greenland were ice free, see below. This partial collapse of the ice sheet is likely to come about, with high risk this century, if the melting is not stopped while it is still just possible using SAI, hopefully with one or two other interventions.

2 or 3 metres SLR from Arctic meltwater is liable to trigger 4 to 6 metres from the Antarctic in a mutually reinforcing feedback. At the end  of the Eemian ~120kya sea level rose 6 to 9 metres above the current level.

The evidence of past partial collapse is something to mention on the Arctic/Greenland Emergency Report Card.

This matches up with evidence of multiple WAIS collapses.

The US National Snow and Ice Data Center shows record low ice extents both in the Arctic and Antarctic regions today.

From what I see, we can fix this at a reasonable price.
