Don’t miss out! Join us today, October 16, for Day 2 of The Global Heating Emergency online conference.
Day 1 focused on the alarming pace of global heating, exploring its accelerating drivers, the crossing of the 1.5°C threshold, and the need for bold, coordinated climate action. Experts from around the world examined the catastrophic risks of surpassing 2°C, including cascading tipping points and deepening human and ecological suffering worldwide. See Day 1 photos below. |
Over 760 attendees from around the world are registered to continue the discussion as we identify actionable strategies to avert 2°C of global heating by 2040, including emissions reduction, greenhouse gas removal, and near-term cooling interventions. Today, on Day 2, we'll also detail the need for a unified global climate plan and stronger coalitions among climate‑vulnerable nations to address escalating system risks and tipping points. |
