Rate of Warming has Doubled?

All, 

I recall someone saying that is has recently in the HPAC email group I think though it ay have been PRAG (thus this is addressed to both)  but I don't remember who said that and would like to know for certain of this is true, what the source of info is, and since when it has doubled (?)

I said this very recently in a conversation and want to make sure I've got my facts straight . If it's true it's also terrifying and has serious implications for the need to use cooling methods SOON
